Education:

After earning his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dr. Perkelvald completed his residency and fellowships in endocrinology and metabolism at SUNY HSCB. Dr Perkelvald is accredited in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Dr. Perkelvald is an Endocrinologist, in private practice in Brooklyn, New York. After earning his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, he completed his residency and fellowship in Endocrinology and metabolism at the State University of New York (SUNY)Health and Science Center in Brooklyn (HSCB).

He is also accredited in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He has coauthored several publications, including a heart protection study focusing on patients with diabetes, and is participating in ongoing industry-funded research projects that examine the treatment of patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
